As a growing company, we are seeking a talented and passionate 3D Artist Concept Visualizer to join our Strategy and Concepting team.

The Role of a 3D Artist Concept Visualizer

As a 3D Artist Concept Visualizer, or Archviz, you will be a key part of the Strategy and Concept team, responsible for developing and creating high-quality 3D models, renders and visualizations that accurately depict design concepts for our clients. You think in terms of concepting and designing complete environments that respond to market, environmental and client objectives. You will work closely with Business Development Managers to understand client needs and wishes, other creative strategists, and our in-house Studio and Product teams as well as external partners to transform your concepts and assets into compelling and convincing client concepts. In short, you are essential in helping to bring projects to life and communicate design intent effectively.

Qualifications:

Strong portfolio showcasing high-end 3D modeling and visualization skills. Having an architectural and interior design and planning eye is a strong plus.

Proficiency in 3D modeling software 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, SketchUp, and Cinema 4D

Proficiency in texturing, material creation, and composition techniques

Able to model buildings from CAD data

Familiarity with real-time rendering engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine

Experience in assessing feasibility of fabrication (with the support of external specialized partners) is a plus

Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software and modeling techniques. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project organizational skills and a structured workflow.

Strong conception, ideation, and storytelling ability. You feel comfortable with all the different phases of the project, from ideation and conceptualization to delivery and building.The ability to collaborate with other team members and key stakeholders to create innovative 3D models, renders and visualizations

Available 40 hours a week and able to work in the office 2 days a week, no freelance. A great communicator and listener that is able to receive and interpret feedback to improve the creative work, strategy, and concept workflow in future concept and design iterations.

Your tasks at Purple

Conceptualizing design ideas, working closely with creative strategists and technical strategists to translate ideas into compelling visual assets, helping to bring projects to life and communicate design intent effectively.

Generating renders and visualizations that can be at times photorealistic with textures and materials for models. Accurately depicting design concepts for clients.

Work with clients, fellow strategists, and business developers to understand the project scope and objectives.

Iterating on designs together with team, client, and external stakeholders based on feedback and suggestions, ensuring that the final product meets the client’s needs and answers the brief (hopefully even surpasses expectations).

Participate in brainstorming sessions to share concept ideas and perspectives.

Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the creation process.

Meet with clients and team members, to understand needs and share ideas. Present stories and design assets through well designed presentations that wow clients and stakeholders, and that clearly communicate design intent and key features.

Take initiative in enlightening and developing others in the ways of 3D modeling.

Keeping abreast of advancements in 3D modeling as well as new technologies and techniques, and contemporary trends to envision cutting-edge concepts.

Our office.

We have 2 offices close to each other. Our first office used to be an old factory, now we turned it into a Experience Lab for our Hyro Digital Storytelling software and IX solutions.

And last year we opened our new office in Suiker Silo next to the old office. So you can visit and work from anywhere you want!
