As a Product Manager, your job is to create value and viability for the product. Ultimately you’re accountable for the results of the product team and the success of the product.
With the use of product discovery techniques such as user research, breadboarding or wire-framing, you transform abstract & complex problems into an understandable product feature set that meets value and viability constraints. With every challenge, you naturally make use of risk- or opportunity assessments that help you and the team discover what the top priorities should be going forward. You translate this input into well-structured, data-informed, written narratives that communicate the overall goal (voiced by stakeholders) of work to be done by the team.
As a passionate product lover, you understand there is limited time & capacity to solve today's problems. You are able to create a focus for the team, use constraints when appropriate and time management comes naturally to you. You make sure the main thing stays the main thing and can prove value is created for our user base.
